CTE’s vision is guided by eminent academicians and renowned researchers.   CTE Board of Governors is comprised of acclaimed members like former Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, IAS and IFS officers and IIT Professors. CTE’s vision is to transform the educational domain by making use of the ongoing technological advancement and shifting the focus from a service-oriented workforce towards an innovative India, where research and product development should be brought to the forefront of educational institutions and colleges’ agendas.  The key starting point is at the grass-root levels, working in partnership with schools, colleges, and universities, where students will be made aware and have access to learn new technologies from experts in their field from industry and research institutions. They will have opportunities for hands-on-experience using Virtual Labs and work-book. CTE continuously engages with Industry partners to provide work placements for students in Industries to gain practical experience prior to leaving University or College.  CTE has provisions to provide grants to talented students involved in innovative research and development. 

Since inception, CTE has attracted memberships from a number of institutions across India including a number of prestigious and elite universities and colleges. It has also established several reputable research and Development Centres and Learning Centres in partnership with member institutions and State Governments.  The Organization has launched an outreach programme of proposals to several State Governments to bring key technology expertise in the field of information technology to students.

The students in certain CTE training programmes will be provided internationally recognised Industrial/Academia certificate. CTE also has professional services division to provide services to develop a cyber security framework to protect member institutions’ educational network for each member institution to suit their security requirements and will distribute software products and training programmes for their dedicated SOC teams to upskill with the latest cyber security technologies and products. 

CTE offers a wide array of programmes and courses ranging from software distribution  virtual labs and video-based training courses, instructor-led training programs, seminars/webinars by domain experts,  international workshops & hands-on training,  train the trainer programs (Faculty development),  research funding for selected aspiring researchers, providing customised cyber security framework and managed services on data security, end-point security, and network security and  SOC team upskill training programmes to member institutions.

CTE has launched various services to date, for example, the CTE LMS (Learning Management System), Video-based training courses, Virtual Labs (to help reinstate the learning), Exam question bank (for various courses), Educational Portal (to provide secure access anywhere, any device and 24×7).

CTE is to partnering with Ministry of Skill development & Entrepreneurship and Ministry of Higher and Technical Education from various state governments throughout India; It is working with Universities to develop new course curriculum design and certification & diploma programs; helping candidates find suitable job opportunities through the creation of its Job Portal; and publishing magazine with research articles by budding researchers.
